The course duration is 3 months.
There are 2 intakes each year, February-April and July-September.
By the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Classify computer components to enable easier study, troubleshooting and optimisation of computer systems.
- Apply emerging technologies such as AI, IoT and 3D printing in day-to-day operations to adapt to evolving market demands and foster sustainable growth
- Identify various types of threats to computer systems and apply mitigation strategies to minimise the impact of these threats.
- Implement ergonomic practices to reduce health issue associated with the use of computers.
- Produce word documents to ensure efficient communication, effective collaboration and professional presentation across various industries and contexts
- Create spreadsheet files using modern spreadsheet software, to manage, analyse and present data efficiently.
- Manage data through operational databases to effectively organise, store and utilise data to support decision making and enhance business operations.
- Use DTP software to produce visually engaging and professional-quality content
- Produce presentations, using appropriate software to ensure effective communication, engagement and achieving objectives in educational, professional and personal contexts.
- Manage files and folders, sing file management tools and services such as Google Drive, version control systems and Filebot to maintain an organised, efficient, and productive

Yes! A National Foundation Certificate recognised by the Zimbabwe Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education will be issued to the student after successful completion of the course.
